Moreover, to upgrade your gun, you need to have parts. Third one is for guns, same case, guns' upgrades are exlusive only to certain squad. In that tree you unlock abilities to carry sidearms (yup), increasee your equipment or XP modifiers for certain class. It's not that easy and you can't upgrade your engineer class while playing the trooper squad, even if you have the engineer assigned there. There is the regular trooper squad, sniper squad, engineer squad, etc. First one is about squad upgrades, you research there stuff like increased soldier limit, XP modifiers or ability to bring soldiers of other classes to your squad e.g. This is going to be quite long so let's start with simple squad upgrades. Sometimes it's basic one-star trooper, sometimes it's a four-star pilot.
To get those soldiers, you open loot boxes. You obviously upgrade them in the academy, but you'll have to sacrifice three one-star soldiers to get one two-star soldier. First thing here, a soldier can have up to 5 stars, most of the time you get basic soldiers with one or two stars. Game is literally based on the grind and everything takes very long.
Enlisted is just like War Thunder, except is has different economy. It's yet another mediocre F2P game that will suck out either your time or money, obviously in a bad meaning.
